Policies and Refunds
By accepting a class offering from Swim Stars Inc., you are also accepting the following policies.
This section lists Swim Stars Inc's policies regarding receiving refunds
30 Days Prior to Session
If a request to receive a refund is received 30 days or greater prior to the start date of the next session, a full refund will be provided. This will be minus any credit card clearance company fees.
15 Days Prior to Session
If a request to receive a refund is received less than 30 days, but greater than 15 days prior to the start date of the next session, the client may choose between a refund of half the payment or credit towards a future session to be taken within 6 months.
10 Days Prior to Session
If a request to receive a refund is received less than 15 days, but greater than 10 days prior to the start date of the next session, a credit will be applied to the clients account to be used for a future session to be taken within 6 months.
Less Than 10 Days Prior to Session
If a request to receive a refund is received less than 10 days prior to the start of the next session, then no refund or credit will apply.
This section lists Swim Stars Inc's general policies
A deposit equal to the first class cost will be required to secure your spot. Final payment equal to the remainder of the class for the session will be required to be paid in full on the day of the first class.
Proper swim attire must be worn. No cut off shorts, tank tops, bras, underwear, etc. Religious restrictions are considered in this rule.
If you arrive late, your class may need to be shortened by that amount of time, as we try to keep everyone on schedule.
Parents and Non-Swimmers
Parents and non-swimmers must wait in the parents waiting room. No parents will be allowed on deck to watch the class. This is distracting to the student and the instructor.
No food or drinks (except water) are permitted on pool deck or the locker room, especially NO GLASS CONTAINERS. No gum.
No street shoes or strollers are permitted on the pool deck or in the locker rooms.
Make Up Policies
This section lists Swim Stars Inc's make up policies
One Make Up
You are allowed one make up class per 6 week session. 2 are permitted for 8 week sessions.
There will be NO make up classes for no shows or call-outs within less than 8 hours prior to scheduled class.
8 Hours Notification
You must call (516-442-0628) or email us (SwimStarsInc@Gmail.com) at least 8 hours prior to the start of your class to receive a make up. If you get voicemail, then leave a message. Notifications received less than 8 hours prior to the start of class will not receive a make up.
Make ups must be scheduled during the current session. No carry over. If not scheduled by the final week of the session, it will be forfeited.
2nd Make Up
If a second make up class is requested, there will be a $15 additional fee.
Make Up Offers
If you are called for a make up class, you will be permitted 2 refusals. A third refusal will consider the make up completed.
